I assume this would come in handy for people who wishes to buy authentic action figures. I haven’t been avoided of seeing some rather obvious fake figures being sold at online auction.
Biker Mice from Mars Action figures were manufactured by a company called Galoob in 1993 to 1996. There was several series which mainly the main trio of muscle mice was involved but in some there was also some side characters included.
You could safely assume that unless the figure doesn’t have Galoob’s stamp anywhere and looks awkward, it’s a fake.
Reconizing the figures: Galoob’s brand can be found usually from figure’s back, or inner thigh in some cases. In bikes it is usually in the part that connects the back tire.
Some things about some figures:
Charley Davidson. First of all. Yes, Charley really made it into original figures. But note that the figure got light blue jeans and red working blouse. ( In series she has black jeans and light blue working shirt and no earrings. ) She didn’t have her tool belt but she had huge black gun that had a light on it that sparkled when rotating a button,
Rimfire – We made to the figure lines twice. –In same getup though. He is originally part of Freedom Fighters series but he also made it to The Astro Bros serie. He has red eyes ( originlally he should have brown ) and only his orange stripe has painted. Figure’s hair is same color as his fur. :(
Fourby – You might not believe it but yes, Do you even remember him from the series? Only africanamerican side character who became friend of bros and who became quite a action hero himself. –He also made it to the action figure. My guess is that since he probably wasn’t popular at all because ask from fans and they reply; Fourby, who? he might be rather rare and difficult to find. So difficult in fact that some older fans think he’s somewhat an urban legend of biker mice.
The bros – they had the basic versions and they also got alternative get ups, sport suits, space suits, off-road getups, freedom fighter uniforms, armors…
Urban legends:
Despite their popularity Carbine, Stoker or Harley didn’t made it to the action figures. they might excist by someone’s customizations or custom made figures but not officially.
